Daniela Jahnes has served at St. Anthony Catholic School since 2014 as the Technology Director and Robotics Coach of the award-winning ROBOCANES FTC Team #16484. She is passionate about helping students develop problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills through technology and robotics.
Under her leadership, St. Anthony's Robotics Program was recognized as a 2025 Inspire the Future: FIRST School Recognition Program Honoree, one of only ten schools nationwide selected for excellence in STEM education and student engagement. She has guided the ROBOCANES to state-level competition for six consecutive years, earning numerous awards at league, state, and international competitions. She has also helped establish St. Anthony as a leader in STEM education, with the school proudly serving as the only Catholic middle school participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) program. In recognition of her dedication to students, robotics education, and the FIRST community, she was honored with the 2025 South Florida FTC League Volunteer of the Year Award.
Mrs. Jahnes holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Universidade Carioca de Informática in Brazil. Prior to joining St. Anthony, she worked as a systems consultant leading technology projects throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, and South Florida.
A dedicated member of the St. Anthony community, she is also the proud parent of two St. Anthony Catholic School alumni.
